I’ve been enjoying James S.A. Corey’s new book The Faith of Beasts but it’s slow-walking the story a bit. I won’t go so far as to accuse them of padding things to have more books in the series. However, I do see some room for concision in plot lines. On the other hand, this is kind of a hallmark of their writing and plotting. Lots of tendrils that eventually coalesce into the overarching story. I’ll be reading it regardless.
